Our Materials

Hand-Tooled Leather

Hand-Tooled Leather

Every hide is selected by hand from heritage tanneries. Only the top 5% of full-grain hides make the cut — chosen for character, resilience, and the way they’ll age.
Premium Cowhide

Premium Cowhide

Our vegetable-tanned cowhide undergoes a six-month curing process using oak bark and traditional methods unchanged for centuries.
Solid Brass Hardware

Solid Brass Hardware

Each buckle, clasp, and rivet is cast from solid brass — never plated, never hollow. They’re hand-finished to a satin patina that deepens with age.

The Process

From Hide to Heirloom

01

Selection

Each hide is personally inspected for natural grain quality, thickness consistency, and character. We reject 95% of what we see.
02

Cutting

Pattern pieces are cut by hand, following the hide’s natural grain lines. No two pieces are identical — each carries its own character.
03

Stitching

Saddle-stitched with French waxed linen thread using twin-needle technique. Every stitch is placed individually — 8 stitches per inch.
04

Finishing

Edges are hand-burnished with beeswax and gum tragacanth, creating a smooth, sealed edge that resists moisture and wear.

"The leather remembers every hand that shaped it."
