A sunflower motif is carved and stamped by hand into the full-grain leather flap, then paired with genuine hair-on cowhide, so no two flaps carry quite the same pattern. Every piece is cut, stitched, and finished by hand in the UK.
A note on the hide: since every piece is made using real hair-on animal hide, no two pieces share the exact same colour or pattern. What arrives is genuinely one of a kind, not a flaw to expect a replacement for.

The sunflower carving is done the same way as every hand-tooled Aesthec piece, by hand, one line at a time, with the hair-on cowhide chosen for its own natural markings and hair pattern. That means the flap on your Sunflower Flap won’t match another one exactly. Small variations in the carving and the hide are part of the piece, not a flaw.

Care Instructions

Protect the bag from prolonged moisture, excessive heat, and direct sunlight. Remove dust gently with a soft, dry cloth or brush. Do not use harsh chemicals, alcohol-based cleaners, or abrasive products on the leather or hair-on cowhide.
When conditioning the tooled panel, use a small amount worked in gently. Heavy conditioner pressed into the carved detail can dull the pattern rather than absorbing cleanly.

When not in use, store the bag upright in a cool, dry place, away from heavy or sharp objects, and let the leather breathe rather than sealing it in an airtight bag.
